The Star Citizen Thread V10

Those of us watching the Twitch streams see this happen so often that we're always watching closely when the streamer gets into an elevator. It's one of the most exciting moments to watch. :D
It's quite sad when you think I've been falling through the same lifts, ships and space stations since 2016...maybe I need to buy some snowshoes at the fancy-schmancy shop in Olisar?

Rule#1 for citizens...if you go into a lift, be wearing skis.

I understand doors can be quite deadly as well.

I think they should rename it: Star Citizen: Dangerous... environment

…oh, and I'm only half-facetious with that texture comment. For those who aren't aware or didn't pay attention, CRobber did actually try to claim credit for textures becoming a thing in video gaming.

This should tell you all you need to know about his industry know-how.

That's just one of his many industry-firsts :D

Remember when he claimed to have invented the FPS? Or when Wing Commander was the first ever game to show your character moving the controls?

Now, there is also a little nugget out there where he actually says he pioneered 3D gaming - but that one is a bit harder to find these days.

Yes, yes, and yes.
Again, he's not exactly the most clued-in or lucent person in gaming. Well… at least not for any other purpose than stealing ideas and reimplementing them very poorly. :D

There's a reason why Origin had to do some very fancy footwork not to get sued into a smoking hole in the ground by Lucasart, and that reason begins with a capital C.

Wait what, a booster? What is this, a space sim or a TCG? Next thing you tell me that the ships are on a yearly circulation like MtG, and some ships will leave standard and cannot be used in normal play :p
