    Billboard Image Sharing!

Since the new update was released last Tuesday, I think we all realize how much of a game changer the billboards have already become. I thought it would be a great idea to create a one stop shop for everyone to share their favorite images, videos, and textures that they use in their own parks for others to save and use for themselves. Not being the greatest in photoshop or video editing myself, I thought this would be very helpful for others like me who wish to put great custom content inour parks as well as give these great creators a way to show off their work! To get things started, I will attach a few images that I simply found on the internet that i think give my gift shop that i'm currently working on a little bit more spark of light. I hope everyone finds this helpful and start adding in some content. Lets get creative with it!

below is a candy shelf texture

and finally a few images of what I got these to look like in my gift shop. Bear in mind, i'm not the greatest builder, but you get the idea.

    If you google the following:

    "wall textures seamless"
    "floor textures seamless"
    "roof textures seamless"

And go to pictures you can get some really nice ones.

    It's as easy as that.

    examples:

watch out for copyright, like the candy shelf image is...

Content Copyright 1997-2017, 4D, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

better to stick with creative commons images or public domain images if you're planning to publish and share your park.

How do you even copyright an image of an shelf full of candy?
I can walk in a candystore around the corner and make the exact same image.

Yes you could, and you would then own the rights to that image. You might want to get permission from the owner of the candy store too before taking pictures!

Publishsing to youtube is considered commercial use. You should own rights to the content, or use creative commons assets. Even then, conditions often specify that you can't re-distribute the content as part of a new collection of "free stuff". In other words, you can't author a library of "free images" that you've sourced from places where the content originates, even if that content is free. This goes for audio and video too. The correct process is to point people to the place where the free stuff is, rather than taking credit for compiling a new collection. But hey.... it's not a serious crime, it's more about respect for owner's rights and wishes. It can become more of an issue if entering your work in competitions or having it showcased officially.

It becomes commercial when you are earning money of it. So a regular account youtuber should not get into trouble with that.

Besides that, I think it's highly doubtful anyone will get into trouble for using it in a game or that anyone will search Youtube to see if anyone has been "abusing' their image which can be found on Google without problems. Watermark them if you don't want that.

Now for the specific case of the candy shelf it is recognizable and is easier to say it's copyrighted than the grass one.
But I don't think any one here can expect a law suit because of this.

If you're looking for copyright free pictures you can look at:

    https://pixabay.com/
    or
    https://www.pexels.com/

Free textures can you find here:

    https://www.textures.com/
    or
    https://freestocktextures.com/

    Free fonts are here:

    http://www.1001freefonts.com/
    or
    http://www.fontspace.com/popular/fonts

And this tool can help you to make seamless textures of nearly any picture:

CoasterHead , EarlyBird , VIP Single Ticket (but who cares?)

I have recreate some of the shop signs, here is a preview!

I also made a video that rotates some face pictures so you can make a booth at the end of the ride where you can "sell" those pictures.

The video can be downloade here:

    Mid res - https://rzwolle.stackstorage.com/s/EypWc6c34Wh1nnl

They do look awesome, but once I download the billboard it messes up the text. For now I will screenshot them from the site directly, but hopefully this will be bugged out
