Hello, Iím having issues using the Star looper and the Viper one coaster models in the game due to the lapping. I cannot make a complete coaster due to the carts always going and cant make it a normal functioning coaster. I was wondering if there was a possible way to turn off the lapping or if there isnt, when the coasters will be able to complete a full circut like most of the coasters in the game? Thanks

The files are all in documents/frontierdevelopments/planetcoaster/usermedia They have been in there since this feature was introduced. Not sure why they arent working now. All I get is a black screen when i try to load any of my custom images. Not too sure what changed as it only started doing this after the most current update that Planet Coaster released.

Hi all. That's my last post in the old forum! ;) I really wish all "tower rides" (Observation Tower, Star Flyer, Gyro Drop Tower) in realistic heights/sizes. The ingame tower rides ar IMO too large and high. It also would be wonderful to be able to adjust the heights of these rides. Ok, that's it. See you soon in the new forum!

I would like some love to the 4d coaster. The rails actually changing height with rotation would be awesome. More importantly the restraints actually being correct would be nice

Like I have and many have already said...the work you are doing inside the park and outside the park is amazing.

Wow - thats quite a lot in one mega update. Nice that you are keeping the theme throughout the whole park so far. This theme reminds me of a small park in Wisconsin Dells called Mt. Olympus. Haven't been there in years, but I assume its still there.

Haven't posted here in a long time. Kaleidoscope Piers and the town of Planco Beach have really filled up! I'm trying for a summer release of the park.

Could not you run the forum as a simulation for two days? This helps with withdrawal symptoms.

Yeah, so will I. I have gathered many great memories in the past 3 years, thanks to the Planet Coaster forums, to which I registered in November 2015. I'm going to miss this place as well. It's been an incredible journey with Planet Coaster and look forward to continue that journey on the new forums. I've already seen the new forums and I personally think it's going to be a nice and welcome improvement, mainly thanks to more modern forum software (xenForo), which in turn will provide several new features.

That were my thoughts exactly. I did some thinking and I don't know if it's helpfull at all but here it goes. My first thought when I saw this happening was there's some kind of resource leak going on with respect to the processor. There are tasks started by the game which aren't being closed after the game is done with them. That explains the decrease of the framerate. While the game plays, the impact of those periodically returning non closed processes increasingly effects the performance of the cpu. The cpu has less performance left for the actual calculation it needs to produce for the framerates. You can actually see in the graph above that the decrease of frame rate scales quite linear with time (if you leave the time away when the game was paused, whilst the game was paused there was no decrease of framerate). The gradient of the graph is about 6.8 frames per hour. Calculation: The frame rate drops about 66 - 40 = 26 frames, during a timespan of 230 minutes (265 minutes - 35 mnutes (when the game was paused). 26 / 230 = 0.11.. frames per minute = 6,8 frames per hour. On your systems of course this would yield an other result, because this quite depends on your system specs. But this gives a great chance to analyse possible causes of this problem. You could test this with different guest counts, if the gradient increases with guest count, you know you have to look for a bug in al the processes which have something to do with the guest count. If it...

I mean, it'd be one thing if this were a PS4 and/or Xbox One game, but this was a game designed for mobile platforms, where there are so many better, and less resource consuming games on the PC! If it's successful like they say, they should work on DLC for the Switch version instead...

theres also the fact.. as I have said before.. if you post a bug report thats the same as another.. they just merge those anyway. So I don't understand why all of the sudden its make a new report. when this hasn't been the case for two years. I feel this new system they are implementing leaves no room for discussion from users... and its up being a "Sorry we don't see this as an issue" or.. "it's your computer" or "working as intended" and leaving it at that.. I had to argue for a year and a half to get them to look at the autosaving issue before they finally admitted its a bug..

If you are confused it means you have never seen an actual proper coaster before. Check some coaster PoVs on youtube to see how smooth actual coasters are compared to Planet Coaster.

I'm sure it would be, but playing Devil's Advocate for a moment, if it's one of those bugs that affect a lot of people (thankfully rare...), and they get a whole string of bug reports from each individual, are they in fact going to respond to each report, and if they or another player have an fix or work-around, will those be posted to each and every bug report? Because if we have a whole series of individual reports, most of us are highly unlikely to go through each and every one of them for any feedback or information, we'll probably just check our own report only. My concern is that while that might be efficient for Frontier, it's possibly going to leave more people hanging unless every report has feedback. Perhaps the new system will offer that, so that people know their issue is being looked into?

Regarding having to submit a separate report for each person having the same problem. The answer is Yes. The problem that I've been seeing is many people respond to the OP's thread, which is great and helpful but several people will respond "SayingI have the same issue can you help me? "Frontier can only help the Original Poster. If anyone is having the same issue you would need to open your own bug report. I have a feeling it will be very efficient for Frontier Folks.
