Use ctrl+shift to set some single path dots in hight and postion i want and then connect them. Sometime i do also a layout with billboardpictures or build it with scenery. For normalpath i take the cash terminal to set stairs as i want.

I sometimes want the coasters be at an certain element at the same time but it is difficult to build the track Fitting to that. i thought it would be easier if u could set a delaytime for the start or with something like the Coaster triggers.

Does anyone have any advice for making realistic queue lines? Iíve looked on YouTube but most of the tutorials just cover priority queues or scenery rating. Whenever I create a queue it just never looks right- a bit ameuterish.

I wanted to try some out some things with theming and custom supports before I start on a slightly bigger project. This is the result, the infamous kiddie coaster Big Apple. I looked at some brochures I had hiding on my pc somewhere and managed to get most of the dimension quite okay. The only issue I had was with the lift where the regular tire lift would create a catwalk I couldn't remove and was on the wrong side. So I opted to use the MCBR/Block Brake to substitute as a lift. It works quite alright :) Workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1304042603 Unthemed version: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1304043077 (If you want the full Apple, Mushroom or the flower lamps, they can all be found on my workshop page)

Maxlaam started a thread Space X-press in Coasters
I've felt inspired by the faux space themed indoor coasters like Spatiale Expťrience and Euro-Sat in Nigloland and Europapark respectively. I guess if you're familiar with either of them you will recognize some elements in this build. I've added a fair few triggers for sound effects and lights. It's a bit rough around the edges but there's only so much I could do and stay true to how incredibly faux sci-fi themed these things are in real life, haha. Just a fun little project it was. Thank you for the fast response JoŽl When i made the blueprint i had several "deck path" roof tiles on the bottom of the ride but they all gone exposing the animatronics underneath is that normal then? Is this then a bug?

I would like to see More lights tiead in to the different themes Guests with disabilities and thus also tools we can employ to help them (e.g. elevators, wheelchair rental, ...) Walls/roofparts that are 1 and 2 meters wide so you don't have to place the current 4m walls overlapping to get to that 1 or 2m section A tool that allows you to list all items you got from the Steamworkshop into your park (name of original author would be nice so you can credit them when uploading your own park to Steam) A Cable car ride Some arcade stile atractions (e.g. game attractions where you can win some toy or other stuff

“The bottom of the barrel” can always be deeper when speaking about Atari. No further comment from me as that would break some forum rules. ;)

I have moved this thread to the How do I-forum. Unfortunately, it is not possible to save terrain and water with a blueprint. You can only save building and scenery objects and up to 5 rides in a single blueprint.

I'd love to see Water Parks in PC, but I can't get my hopes up that it will ever happen. Even if it did, I doubt it would be satisfying unless they changed some core mechanics of the game.

The problem here is that, the engine would have to be completely rebuilt causing a secondary team to have to work on secondary issues that would arise with a (hypothetical) mac version, and subsequent patches would ultimately end up falling behind for mac users. Also, various compatibility issues would arise when dealing with cross-platform file sharing via the workshop. So, no. its a bit more complicated than you might think. Surprisingly, the Sims is an extremely successful franchise and EA as a company far surpasses Frontier in size of wealth or profits (though not necessarily quality of games ). I suppose we can thank Atari for being stupid and not knowing how to manage the RCT franchise better, otherwise maybe Frontier would have made RCT4 a long time ago and we would have an even more awesome RCT5 by now! lol nvm

Hi! I hope you are all having a good weekend. I'm new to Planet Coaster and I don't know a whole lot (I only casually played RCT3 as a kid), but I hope I can make somewhat helpful contributions. Human animatronics I've noticed that the human animatronics have one default skin tone. Given that their clothes are already recolorable and that there are diverse options for peeps, it seems like a given that editing the skin color would be a feature. Darkrides implementation suggestion I know there has already been a lot of discussion about the lighting options for darkrides, and someone might have already said this but I couldn't find anything. I don't know much about game development, so this might be unreasonable, I dunno. But my understanding is that "blocking" daylight is resource intensive? So I thought that maybe, instead of having the game render a shaded area all the time, you instead can highlight a sort of "pocket dimension" around the darkride. When your camera is outside the pocket dimension, the global lighting is normal as always. But when your camera is inside it, the global lighting changes to night time, just like how it does when you manually set the time... I imagine that this could be abused in weird ways but, whatever, just throwing it out there I guess. Sorry if this has already been discussed though.

I have created my first track today and uploaded it to steam To my big disappointment it has not saved the ground or the bottom of the blueprint, leaving it pretty much useless and open to harsh critic. Have anyone got a tip or an idea how to fix this ? I would love to make more creations but there got to be a better way to save them so this wont happen in the future.

You can't play beefy games without a beefy computer! MacOS doesn't have a magic touch that allows things to work with lower-end hardware
