I also bought PC after watching youtubers. Got it about 8 months after it came out. I played rct1,2 and of course 3...for 10 years. We don't know the inner workings of Frontier but I do know the people that make all the great youtube videos help to sell the game. It did for me. And the streams that Frontier themselves make are SO incredibly helpful.

I originally got PC after it had been out about a year. I found it through You Tubers we watched a lot. One of them is now a Community Manager here! I have always played Sim games but had never touched any of the amusement park games. I was sold on PC because of the spooky pack. Anyway, obviously some people come to it through streamers and youtubers.

Instead of making glow skulls I made flexi color glowing blorbs (half Spheres) that can be placed in the eyes or used for lots of other things. Not quite ready to upload them all but this will give you an idea. Should be uploading them this weekend. I will update with the links. The tiny blorbs go in the eyes. The Skeleton skull has one blorb that shows in both eyes. Tiny and Mini with in game items to make an alien plant inspired by No Man's Sky flora.

Hey SnoopDro, Please ensure you've fully read this page: If you still need technical assistance there is "Yes open ticket" at the bottom of the page which will allow you to raise a support ticket. I hope this helps.

I think it's cool if the game actually teaches what is possible/optimal in real life like that - but yeah freedom is fun in games so I guess a toggle between realistic mode and all free mode would be nice.

I'm glad it's selling, I'm curious what audience is it heading towards. Who's getting it? How is it being marketed? Do you think it will continue to expand?

Ahh I'm so happy! It actually works well now :') it was such a joke to play when it released and the stupidest bugs would happen. Paths are managable and the trains work well, I'm so happy. Now that it's playable not only for the most dedicated - is there a growing community of casual gamers playing this like there was with RCT? Do you know if it's getting popular among kids? RCT was my childhood's biggest game. It was such a good mystery to challenge, I didn't get how any of it worked but everything about it astonished me and that gave me limitless adventures. Is it marketed towards kids? Are parents getting it for their kids like my grandma got mine for me?

@Raze: Your video link is not working. I totally agree with your suggestions. Although I only try to build "realistic" coasters with reasonable banking, inversions and transitions. The thing is: Frontier has implemendted the restrictions for the sake of "reality". But apparantly they are not as versed in real-live coaster technology as they needed to be to justify the restrictions. There are so many things existing in reality that I can´t build in PlanCo due to the imposed limitations. Please, please, please, for the sake of fantasy-builders AND reality-builders: Restrict the restrictions!

Which traditional parks would you like to see in Planet Coaster? I actually started Lagoon and Canobie Lake but didn’t get very far. The sky ride is a much needed addition as a bunch of smaller parks still have them. In fact, all the parks I listed have one with the open seats. Also I like haunted rides and all of those parks have them. Knoebels Lagoon Canobie Lake Indiana Beach Wonderland, Amarillo, TX (has Whacky Shack type ride like Waldameer)

Basic modeling is done but I see some problems with, I assume, the textures when importing in Planet Coaster. Once I've got that solved I'll start on the animation(s.)

Having bucket gondolas and a US Carousel in Planet Coaster would be nice. We will have to wait and see what the update will be.

Hello everyone who's here! I registered here recently and making this thread because i don't like the restriction for coasters, rides etc. for some reasons and i want to ask for less restricions for all rides where you can build their track/rail. I know there is a option in the settings which ignores some restrictions but not all that restrictions that i want deactivated. i do sometimes play the game as a totally sandbox game and want to crazy rides (as example like curved hydraulic boosters or other stuff) it was in the beta possible to build stuff like that and i miss it a bit for that. my wish is to make coasters completely restrictionless as an option. here one example:
