    Yes, interesting. I wonder if the dlc also have some gameplay content. There are, for example nighttime. However Frontier tend to add that as free download. I am sure Frontier still can earn lots of on dlc because people want to have beautifully made rides etc that will fit in perfectly in every aspect. But I would sure love to see some kind of modding, for example changing limits, adding some features.. Gameplay mods. Some games you can do quite a lot on that part. Fleshing out the game itself and/or even bug fixing so the game itself survive longer time. It would be beneficial. Maybe Frontier can release that support further down the pipeline. Or not. Every developer company are different.

    Thanks very much forcing myself to go it super slow and steady on this one...which isn't easy since I usually whip through a park build too fast, and it doesn't look that great, or I lose interest after a week and scrap it.

    We’re not able to. We don’t have access to those type of files. They meant you would have to make your own walls by using a 3d modeling software. We don’t have the texture files to recreate the walls that come with the game.

    My opinion throughout: Although I doubt a text-post version of a temper tantrum would (nor should) be persuasive to Frontier, ad hominem shouldn't be used to obscure the simple facts that this is a reasonable request and one that several people have made. Nor is it one that should be particularly difficult for the devs to do -- a simple toggle-box in the settings of a Grid placement thing like a wall-arch piece could be added to change that piece to Free Form placement. We now can filter by Grid placement and Free Form placement in the Building and Scenery tabs' Property filters (when was that added? It's been very helpful!), which shows the data's accessible enough to do this. But the Toolkit option would be a good point, if Frontier was providing us with the objects and textures in the wall sets -- without them, trying to seamlessly model (and especially texture!) some of the pieces would be very difficult. The licensing on the Toolkit Example Scenes shows Frontier can do so without endangering their IP rights. Is it less work for them to make these available to us (even just as obj & png files) than to set up another toggle-box in the settings of the gridded items? I'm sure a toggle box on already in-game content would be far less resource-intensive during gameplay, but making all the walls, roofs, and other gridded content available for Toolkitters to modify'n'upload would undoubtedly be popular!

    I'm honestly wondering how Cities Skylines managed to have full Workshop Mod Support from the start (I wish Planet Coaster had that too) but they still manage to release DLC and actually earn a good chunk of money from that. Cause I hope that would be the course for Planet Coaster #2 at some point. It is proven that it can work. So no reason to not go with full workshop support from the start and release worthy gameplay DLC on a level modders cannot do themselves.

    this. The game has ups and downs. For example: A full park is not really possible because the performance will die once you start to build anything with a realistic size. And the lack of management and all the restrictions everywhere and lack of mods doesn't make for great gameplay. But for designing a single coaster this game is great. Only NoLimits 2 tops it, but that's not really a game and takes way longer.

    How do I do that please? I have no idea how to use the thememakers toolkit to enable wall pieces to flip upside down, if you know how to do this - please do share your knowledge with the rest of us - firstly, where and how do we find the wall pieces we want to turn upside down in the planet coaster folders on our computers?

    Dear Devs, I'm still learning the game, and have to say it's quite enjoyable. Of course, it has weak sides as well, and one of it I'd like to bring to the attention is the sky. You have made a decent terrain modifier, but the sky for this level of game is awful. Most of the time it's clear, but those few clouds are pity. It barely can be called clouds. Please, make some nice skydomes, and maybe some weather styles to choose from. The game really lacks it.

    Was this issue ever dealt with in any way? or spoken about even. Because it's actually the only thing keeping me from enjoying, and playing the game. My immersion breaks every time i see the neck-break transitions. I had hoped this would have been tackled by now. - Yes coaster smoothness is important in a theme park game that works around a spine system, and not 'piece selection' system - To some it might not matter, but lets be real, it's not all people who play planet coaster who strives for realism, and some might not even have the patience and imagination for realism either. However if you do care, it is a really huge immersion breaker, and an even more tedious task to do the 4m trick, to trick the game into something which should be possible in the first place.

    Most of those who know me since RCT times know that Shrek movies have always been my absolute favorites. (I really hope that the long-announced 5th movie will be realized soon). I have already "tried" in RCT3 to replicate the story of Shrek's films in a park. But I have never been so close to "Far Far Away" as in PlanCo. Many thanks to the many creators of the Thememaker's Toolkit objects who have contributed to making my idea a little more realistic every day. As Patreon of S • Dan • Wolf, I was allowed to wish for a building or vehicle. I wished for the school bus from "Shrek The Third" and the result is just great. Thanks a lot for this.

    Just ask guys. It's quite simple, you have to use a texture with the suffix "_AL". After that it is the same principle as with other textures, white = 0, black = 100.

    So this is a weird Error I'm getting and it seems to happen when I add 2 or more Flexicolors. I've tested all my other maps and they seem to work fine. I only have a BC, RN and NM maps applied to my object. Its when I add 2 or more flexicolor maps is when I start getting the error. I have two materials for my object so I can have two seperate UV maps. this is how I have the naming setup and if it helps I'm using Blender. Materialname_1 -material name_1_BC -material name_1_RN material name_1_NM material name_1_F1
