I truly don't understand what you are having an issue with. That track looked perfectly smooth to me???? The only jerks I saw was when the PC couldn't keep up with the rendering. Sorry - I'm confused.

sure. but that's always the same vicious circle if you take the perspective of a perfectionist. you will find always a fault in something, no matter how good something already is. don't get me wrong, i am still full in support to have better smoothing results than we have now, there is much to improve on this task. you have to invest lots of time to make a track kind of smooth but still it's impossible to get rid of these little interval shakes, which are indeed very disturbing to have even after using a smoothing tool. this is a downer. but being able to create a coaster exploring gorgeous scenery compensates a lot for a model maker.

Beautiful scenery aside, this actually just enforces my views on the coaster creator. This might be pretty, but the track completely kills it for me. Beautiful scenery! But that boinky, jerky experience made it mundane to me. Edit: Wouldn't you say that this could have been even better if the track was actually smooth? (don't give me the NL2 crap, there's no comparison)

This is exactly what we are talking about. it seems to effect some players worse than others, but its clearly some sort of core bug as it seems most/many players have indicated some sort of menu lag even with no TMT in their parks. Like Fisherman said, I too submitted a ticket, many things were recommended, completed, yet nothing helped or was identified, so I was told to just remove the TMT items if I wanted to fix this on my system. Thats not a because I do like the game so much, I still play, although very very slowly with the menu lag. It would be nice if some miracle fix would just occur. Any improvement right now would make my experience so much better. Removing TMT after my appetite has been fed what should be an awesome feature in the game just doesn't seem right to me. Back to playing...I mean waiting to play the game now. :)

It would be nice if music or songs you put on rides and coasters didn't just stop playing when the ride of coaster comes to a stop, it would be great if it played all the time, even when the ride has stopped - that way we could put playlists of songs or instrumental music on our rides so that our guests wouldn't get bored of hearing the same song or music over and over and over again! What's everyone think of this idea?

That's cool but why don't you make it easier and just delete everything thats 2018 and older the only thing we need on the new forum would be 2019 stuff like updates/DLC, News, live stream, bug report for right now

Typical Atari...they can't even add the correct description to the crap they are trying to sell. No proof-reading and likely no one will notice it for weeks...

After the last update the lag with the Cobra screen disappeared, and the tabs were just a little slow, but much improved, so I was happy. So I added a few TMT objects I'd been holding off on. So rather than the 3-4 items I had before, I now have maybe two dozen. The lag with the Cobra screen is still fixed, but now the tabs are back to lagging terribly, even if I never place the TMT stuff in my park. The solution I guess is to remove the TMT items once again, which really sucks when they were heralded as being such a great addition to this game...

xSHADOWx , I think the bottom line in this case is that they cannot figure out what is causing this problem so they are no longer going to look into it. As much as I wish they could offer a solution, it just isn't going to happen.

Hayo Coaster Friends! We are excited to announce that we will begin the process of transferring the Planet Coaster forums over to their new format from Monday 25 March, 2019! This update will combine all the Frontier games together into one main forum area with dedicated subforums for each game, help streamline the forums to make them easier to navigate and will also feature a new design and improved functionality! The Planet Coaster forums are a treasure trove of information, discussion and creativity which means there's quite a lot of stuff to transfer across to the new system. This means we're looking at a long period of forum downtime whilst we get everything sorted. The forums will go offline on Monday 25 March and we anticipate around 3 days of downtime, though this may be subject to change. In order to reduce the transfer times we will be removing areas of the forum that have low activity or would no longer be necessary on the new site. The following forums will be removed and all content deleted. Removed Forums

What causes random crashes? I subscribed to a bunch of tmt items. And now the tabs are loading really slow, as well as when saving the park, and booting the game is slow as well. I think it has something to do with tmt items slowing the game down when they are subscribed to. If you have 10 or less tmt items it's not as bad, but 100 or more and the game will crash more and take forever to switch tabs and save the park.

Hi jeruntje, Thanks for being patient with us during this process. After looking at the video again and having someone else review the footage, we can see that there is no memory leak occurring. This is because you are using less memory than you were at the start of the time you leave the game to run (around 6580MB RAM is being used at the start - around 6234MB RAM is being used at the end). Despite this, it is still strange that you're losing frames, and we have decided to focus on that for the time being.

White River Amusement Park today I will show you some images from the park. This is the entrance, a classic and simple design with the sign of White River on top, This entrance has changed much over the years. But the main parts are still standing from 2002 when NVDB investments changed the old entrance.

My issue is the same as everyone else's here. Again.. Making a second bug report won't do jack. They are just going to merge it into another as I have seen so many other times. And when it's something that isn't going to be fixed they just say it's working as intended. My statement still stands.. Inconsistencies in what they do and say. And the only feedback listened to is when it's being told how awesome they are. Why should I make yet another bug report regarding an issue when that's not how it's worked at all for 2 years plus now... I like how you say YOUR... issue capitalizing it.. Like I am the only one who has this bug.. When it's clearly not the case

I think they are done looking into this issue. It could not be resolved. Just gotta accept it and move on...and make only small parks from now on.

Im yet to have uploaded an animated asset with bones, but what ive been told is that you only need to "skin" the First LOD, not the other 5. As for the sequencer. are you sure you selected the correct type in the thememaker?

@ThatMrT, flaws aside, in this game smoothness isn't the only thing you can translate into immersion.

it would be neat to have a once a week or once every two weeks stream where one of the artists/modelers create a new piece for the game and add it to the workshop so we can see how they do it.. plus it adds more to the game officially.. unofficially. I would sooner watch that than another workshop wonderland featuring the same people almost everytime with high fantasy pieces that are maybe pretty to look at but completely unrealistic for any real park. It would also be something really unique that no other game company has done.

Yes but when the ride stops, the audio doesn't keep playing and I think it should, that way you could link playlists to your rides and have a selection of songs or music that plays all the time including when the ride isn't moving!
