Remember to buy stationary pc, not laptop (unless you are rich and really want laptop) and research what to buy. Not doing research = waste of money.

I think you kind of misunderstood. In Sandbox it is natural you want to have everything. But in Career/Scenario mode it is part of challenge to just be presented the selection the creator used, and then you have to research for more. It is a *game* that way. :)

I also disagree with this. There are a few really negative people who seem to hate the state of the game to the point I wonder why they are even on the forum, and they tend to be very loud and often obnoxious. Sure I have some issues with the game I'd like addressed, but good grief. As far as communication I think they do fine. Sure I'd like more but I am mostly satisfied with the way it is. I have been playing games for a long time and Frontier is more transparent than many if not most game companies.

Ah, then I misunderstood. English is not my first language (or second), and when I said 'the customer' I didn't mean everyone, just some. I shall be more specific next time. Agreed. Lots of people have been asking for more focus on rides, and this is exactly what we got. Seven quality rides, although the theme of these rides is more of a niche theme, so they might not be interesting for everyone.

if I had a staff of 50 it would be to difficult and time consuming to change all Janitors, mechanics, and the rest what they get hour. In rct3 at the top there a button we could type the pay rate and slide the slider. Which turns it on. If we need to change it later we would only change THAT number and it immediately changes all staffs wages. please give us default buttons

I'm definitely not saying that you're bashing. I just mean that most threads go that way when people have different opinions that sound like they are stated as fact. If you'd said some customers, rather than "the customer", which sounded like a blanket term for everyone, I wouldn't have misunderstood your intention. I'm sorry if you thought I was accusing you of bashing. That's all I was saying.

I haven't played with that either, B4, but wouldn't that send a whole flock of people toward those advertised rides? It might be easier to tweak the existing options than to create my version.

How am I bashing exactly? You pointed out that those flat rides might require a lot more work to make than scenery pieces, which explains why this pack has less objects than the previous DLCs. My point is that for many people this fact might not really be relevant. They just see this DLC has 'less' than the previous DLCs, hence the existence of this very thread. I also never said I think this DLC is lacking compared to the other DLC in terms of size.

I agree, RealWar, having some of these pieces split up into separate components, would be fab. It would give us loads more flexibility. And Chems, I don't know what your point is. The customer is surely the mass of people who own this game, rather than just you personally? Who knows what individual people value. I know lots of people including yourself, probably, asked for more flat rides and coasters. We got more. But let's not turn this thread into a clone of most of the others on this forum bashing every decision Frontier make. There's plenty of other threads that fulfilled that need.

Get a pc and donít pay to much. The game will even make performances problems on higher pc. I have a 1000Ä pc and it is totally ok. I can play on ultra settings without problem. The problems starting when you have a lot of objects and lets say over 5-10k peeps in the park. And with objects I mean a lot of objects like our featured players do. Like I said 1000Ä are totally fine. Donít pay to much if donít need it.

I think the game might be running on the onboard gpu. Check ingame if it is using the Nvidia card. Maybe that's the problem.

My only issue with with the "Shrinkage" is that there are quite a few neat details, but they are all a part of a larger piece, like a tower, gazeebo, etc. If they were separate pieces, they would be much more usable, and the piece count would be "boosted". However, it is unlikely to change for the Vintage Pack stuff, I'm hoping for in future packs they don't add too many larger pieces that could be split up into multiple pieces.

Well they might require more work on Frontier's end, but that does not mean they are of a bigger value for the customer.

Yes, if we're judging the size of the vintage page purely on the number of items, then yes, it's smaller. But let's look at this objectively. I'm guessing that it takes more time and resources to create a new ride or coaster than it does to make a piece of scenery. We got 5 flatrides and 2 coasters in this pack. Plus a good selection of scenery and building pieces. I can see people's point about the trapeze artists, but there's plenty of other things in this pack. So in my opinion, it's no smaller than the other packs. The new rides make up for the smaller amount of items. And I think it's still good value for money. Helena made the perfect point that there's no reason anyone should buy a DLC pack without knowing what was included as there are always multiple videos of people reviewing them. If you don't like what you see, don't buy it. Frontier don't show us everything before release, which isn't ideal, but within a few hours of release, the videos emerge. Just don't buy them as soon as they're released. Wait until you've had chance to assess if it's something you want. This will avoid disappointment. I personally love it. I think it's great value and stuffed with gorgeous goodies.

There are still some big bugs in vanilla features as well. During the 1.7 Schematics Team Bo mentioned that they at least are looking at the 3D gizmo problems, so that's great! I have also seen some people reporting changes to the smoothing tool, although I haven't really experienced them myself.
