The strikes aren't in relation to showcasing other people's content. It's just a dude who listed the in-game speaker music via TuneCore and that's what we're getting flagged for. The in-game music, Frontier stated, they want people to share and enjoy.

I haven't gotten any copyright claims on any of my YouTube Planet Coaster videos. Thankfully Frontier I think doesn't get like an agency or something to monitor use of their ingame music and stuff in my experience. However if you do a park showcase built by someone else, that person has a right to file a dispute since you're using a park created by them. If showcasing other peoples parks, it pays to give credit to them. YouTube does allow you to dispute illegitimate claims (or if you feel the dispute is unjustified). Copyright law allows you to share content for the purposes of review etc. Usually once you've uploaded a YT video and it's finished being processed, you can check if there's any claims. If there is, I find out what the issue is, delete the video, edit the claimant out, and repost. Companies are not allowed to go around filing false claims to content they don't even own lol. That can be considered as fraud "wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain." They pretend they own the content and they have a lol when YT has to give us a claim, thus the culprits have personally gained trying to damage our YouTube channel through YT's policy. The YT copyright filter granted is not perfect. Fortunately I haven't gotten any strikes. That's why I check copyright notices once I post a video. That way in some situations I can delete the video before YouTube servers are able to process a strike. If you notice that you really...

I would to see a Water DLC pack for PC. However Bo, a Frontier staff member, confirmed in an earlier post this year that ideas like swimming pools etc wouldn't quite fit in. Meaning it could be too much work and trouble for Frontier. I'd love to see swimming pools, waterslides, and bumper boats in this game. However we have building tools and pieces (scenery, building items) where plays can emulate say a waterpark like creating swimming pools and water slides through scenery and building pieces. Silvaret, a major YouTuber, has already created his is it koala something park which has this. However Frontier is like one of the biggest game developers in the world at creating simulation games. Zoo Tycoon, Screamride, a Kinect game for Xbox 360. As for pricing, yes there are those who would be happy to pay for a new DLC and those who aren't. And if it's free, they complain how there's games or bugs with the DLC. But games and bugs are not due to a single DLC. Frontier has provided free additional rides and updates since the full version of this game came out. Yet people are complaining how the game may have bugs etc. There are even people who complain about the cost of the base game itself. So pricing and imperfect software are no excuse not to consider a water DLC. I have seen multiple threads from this year and last year requesting this feature. So there IS a DEMAND for it.

I have noticed you've got Vintage ticked on the filters. Have you also tried ticking Main Game in case it's a miscategorisation issue? Shane EDIT: If memory serves me right Re-Motion was added in the Studios update so you may also need the Studios tick box.

It is unlikely that Planet Coaster will be upgraded to DirectX 12. It would take a considerable amount of time and only players with Windows 10 would be able to play, since DirectX 12 is not available for Windows 7 and 8.

Fantasy or Horror? Ride through a haunted and mystical forest where your wildest dreams and nightmares come true. Spooky specters, mythical beasts, fae who secretly watch you, creepy crawlies, and good natured bats will see you on your way. Built for my Halloween park but would be at home in my Dungeons and Dragons park as well.

I wouldn't bet on that. Best is to assume they stay with DX11. I would still advice to lower/limit the guest count.

Hey Joel, thank you very much for this precise answer! My question is maybe stupid, but it is conceivable that one day developers use directx12 to upgrade PlanetCoaster? (if there is no more this limitation, of course) Or it's impossible, because it's means that they would have to develop again the whole game?

There used to be times, when such an expansion was normal. Not today. While Soaked was filled with content and new features, today itīs just some content, skins, bscly no gameplay changes or improvement. Yet, people celebrate this kind of DLCs, so itīs obvious why there wonīt be a big one. Itīs cheaper to produce, but they can sell it at quite high price and mainly, they can release several of them throughout the year. Win Win for Frontier.

Ok, at the bottom of the hill make a tight circle over and over overlapping the track then continue on. The cars will slow down while spinning in a circle and when they continue on they will travel at normal speed.

Seems like the focus now is themed DLCís with a few rides, coasters, and scenery pieces. A Soaked like DLC would have to be way bigger. And I sense that there are some ride types from RCT that PCís code canít do at the moment, like swan boats, bumper boats, mazes, etc. And swimming pools or anything that guests interact with the water outside of a ride vehicle.

Are there any rides in the game that the riders control themselves? Go-karts? Bumper cars?

One thing I hate is the ugly cliffs when you flatten the park up to the end of the modifiable terrain. On Grassland though the cliffs are minimized, there is only a short cliff at the one end when the land is flattened, the other end has no cliffs if you take away the cave over the spawn point. So, I use Grassland mostly.

Heartfelt thank you Frontier - your team is the inspiration for my park. Australia had three Luna Park's, 1) in Adelaide (now gone), 2) in Sydney (still operating) and 3) In Melbourne - (still operating) and opened in 1912. Mine is inspired by Melbourne's and I grew up going there regularly. The parks Scenic Railway is the oldest continually operating roller coaster in the world. It has been thrilling guests since 1912 and is still running with its hand carved dragon head carriages and is BRILLIANT - Would love this type of coaster in game. Thanks again for inspiring and creating for us, and I feel honoured to receive such an awesome gift from your team, will get this framed, warm regards G

Hi, Just wanted to check again with use. I have downloaded GPU-Z, CPU-Z and have task manager open. CPU usage seems really high, ram and GPU not so much. Been looking at getting the Zotac GTX 1050ti 4GB mini or upgrading ram to 16GB but not sure if it will really help with the performance of the game if my CPU usage is that high. Or is it? Thanks

I know this post is old, but I must say I agree completely with it. Not only about shops, but about the rest of the content. This game should re-balance certain mechanics first, then add more content like that. Adding more variety is nice, but it wonīt rly make the game better in any way, right? Would be basically just re-skin with no gameplay impact.

That CPU will not give you any increase in FPS. The Intel Core i9 7900X has a lower core clock speed (frequency) compared to the i7 7700K. Planet Coaster uses DirectX 11 and a limitation of DirectX 11 is that it can only use a single thread for its Direct3D draw calls. This in turn means that the higher the speed per core clock, the higher the performance (FPS) will be. This is a known bottleneck of Planet Coaster and there is currently nothing that can be done about that, except for having a CPU with a core clock speed per core that is as high as possible. Having more cores doesn't help at all in this case, which is why the i9 7900X is not recommended if you want to upgrade to that CPU just for Planet Coaster.

The APU will run Planet coaster basically, but on very bad performance on very low graphic settings. You may even set your resolution down to 720p. I would not recomment such a APU for this Game. You will benefit much more if you save a bit longer and buy a Ryzen 1000 Series quadcore CPU and a dedicated GPU like a 1050ti or Radeon RX570. If you don't want to change your plans, a Maonboard with a X450 Chipset between 70 and 100 Dollar should do very fine with the option to upgrade to a larger CPU later. I terms of RAM, you should consider 2 x 8GB sticks. Compatibility with 2 Sticks at dual channel is much better than 4 Sticks.

Hi Frank, Is the Family Notebook the same as the one that's you've posted about earlier? See quote below. If so, then yes, it would meet the minimum requirements, but you will most likely have a low FPS with large parks. You can buy the game on Steam and play it for a maximum of 2 hours to test it. If your computer cannot run the game, then you can request a refund if you have not played for more than 2 hours (having the main menu on screen/game in paused mode counts as well) and haven't owned the game for more than 2 weeks.

Hi coaster friends! Thanks to all who participated in our Fabulous Frontier Funfair competition; we got loads of gorgeous-looking vintage parks and were blown away by your creativity. We've picked the winners and have a beautifully retro top 10 to present to you; they were shown in tonight's livestream at 7PM BST on YouTube. All winners will also be contacted and receive a special Vintage-themed poster from us. You can see the stream here: Enjoy!
